Neck backshape gets a large "soft V" shape. The series was discontinued under the Squier name in and moved to Mexico, as guitarists were unwilling to spend such high prices for Squier guitars. So how do you determine which is the correct production year?

This guitar is sweet and plays wonderful. Neck backshape feel was a large rounded "D" style neck. These small "tallboy" plastic bakelit knobs were implemented on the Strat with solid shaft pots perhaps Fender didn't have any split shaft fender japan stratocaster dating in stock at the time, as the Strat was the first Fender guitar with plastic knobs.

These cracks are caused by different things. To summarize, if the Fender instrument is later than mid, and was originally not blond in color, the body wood should be Alder! This made the finish less transparent, and allowed Fender to use Alder body wood with minor defects such as mineral stains.
In my opinion, the Bob contours are nicer and more sexy if I can say that. I could tell by looking in the route I talk more about paint later.
Tuners change from "single line" Kluson Deluxe to "double line" Kluson Deluxe where "Kluson" and "Deluxe" are now in two vertical parallel lines. Fender had a problem finding light weight ash for Tele bodies, and experimented with what is known as a "smugglers" Tele body with heavier ash.
February "NoCaster" specs: All models used Ash as the body wood. This can really be seen on well-used Teles, because the poly finish does not yellow, where the lacquer peghead finish does.
Byneck backshape is a fatter "D" shape, but still not quite as fat as and prior Telecaster necks. Note some models such as the Jazzmaster and Jaquar the use of Kluson tuners ended in mid see below. The poly "thick skin" finish gets thicker. When Fender started making reissues inthey also reissued the tweed case. Chrome covered pickup in neck position. Fender used Kluson tuners exclusively on all models.
Even though CBS officially bought Fender init took until the fall of for the changes to really make a difference. A new material called "Tolex" was now used, in a coffee-with-cream type brown color.
Glued-on Maple fingerboard available as an option black dotswith no back skunk stripe. One of the additional screws required a change to the interior body route on the Stratocaster. The halo was used to hide the side grain of multi-piece bodies, because Fender could easily match the face grain, but it was difficult to match the side grain. The body routes on Telecasters. Most alder bodies are 2 to 4 pieces. They were getting more poorly-made instruments as the years went on and found they were still paying a high price for them. These reissues are often confused with the original late to early Thinline models. Also the interior was not a short dark orange plush, but was now a long, light colored orange shag.
But be aware, like a lot of things at Fender, there were, for a while both types of bodies being used till the older ones were gone!The V.C.
